not dead, just insanely busy.

so yes, "beautiful feeling" is fantastic. it used to hit me in the gut with some pretty overwhelming emotions. the song that has been doing it to me more recently, however, is "it's you"... man, that is a fucking great breakup song. that album came out just as i was getting over a really intense relationship. when i heard the refrain "when i'm not with you/my dreams are so very dark..." i started bawling like a baby... holding onto my steering wheel at a stop light, wiping tears away and noticing that the people in the car next to me were staring at me with their mouths agape. it's quite amusing, in hindsight. i'm sure i was a spectacle.
